Visit Us at SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Conference – January 24–25, 2017
Hexion is exhibiting at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing and Technology Conference in The Woodlands, Texas. Come by booth #106 at the show to learn more about the advancements we have made in technology for the oil and gas industry. This includes our new dust suppressant technology, resin coated proppants, performance additives, and production chemicals. Stop by for a promo item, watch a video, and hear more from our sales team.
Hexion has released a new solution for the industry. Our Sentinel™ dust suppressant technology offers dust control onsite for uncoated frac sand. This is in response to the dust regulations for proppants used in hydraulic fracturing that went into effect on June 23, 2016. This dust suppressant solution is in addition to our existing proppant product lines that effectively reduce dust due to their resin coating.
Our new HexCem™ product line offers advanced cementing solutions. Hexion’s FluidLock™ fluid loss additive is a multi-functional cement additive with additional benefits including effective control of foaming and cement sheath gas migration. Formulations for low density and high density applications are available that allow for precise control of the cementing job.
Hexion’s OilPlus™ proppants provided a 20% increase in oil over competitive resin coated proppants in the Permian Basin during a 21-month period. View the case history for the details on how much additional profit could have been realized by pumping just OilPlus proppants.
Our proppants performed better than competitive resin coated sand in the Montney Formation in Canada. Hexion’s SB Prime™ proppants experienced 25% less production decline compared to the competitive RCP in 90 days, ultimately leading to a difference of millions of dollars in revenue.
Hexion had an article published in the September issue of World Oil magazine covering our new kRT™ 100 proppants. This economical proppant reduces proppant flowback and enhances safety over uncoated frac sand.
The employees at Hexion
value giving back to their communities and making a positive difference. The Houston, TX office partnered with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to donate blood on several occasions. A group of runners participated in the Capital to Coast Relay, which benefits those that have served in our military. We also paired with the Salvation Army to provide gifts for underprivileged children throughout the Houston community.
Hexion supplies a broad range of Bakelite® phenolic resins globally that enable our customers to manufacture additives that perform effectively with a wide variety of crudes over a wide temperature range. These phenolic resins can reduce free monomers to meet the most stringent regulatory standards and provide narrow specification ranges to ensure consistent quality.
Hexion’s Oil and Gas website pages are now updated with a new design and additional content for a better customer experience. This includes new product pages on some of our new products such as AquaBond proppants, kRT proppants, and TriMax H2S scavengers. Pages include new graphics, videos, and links to Fracline e-newsletter articles.
Our new Quick Reference Guides provide the latest data on our proppants. Technical specifications are listed along with application content and AcTivator™ consolidation aid temperature requirements. Data for our new kRT proppants is included along with additional mesh sizes.
Our easy to use App provides you the latest literature and videos at your fingertips. Included are Technical Data Sheets, Technical Sales Bulletins, and product videos highlighting our resin coated proppants, performance additives, and production chemicals.
