Case History: Optimizing Fayetteville Production - Reducing Costs

Introduction
Hexion’s ValuBond™ 40/70 is designed to provide an advanced resin coated proppant that increases well production over uncoated frac sand. This economical resin coated sand has the most curability of any proppant in the industry, allowing it to hold open offshoot microfractures for improved production.

Case History
A major operator recently used ValuBond in their well with excellent results. This cost effective resin coated proppant increased well production while reducing their operating expenses.

ValuBond eliminated their issues with proppant flowback which resulted in reducing their well downtime and keeping their production equipment from being damaged. In addition, it kept the operator from having to clean out their flowback tanks or deal with lateral wash runs with coil tubing.

Hexion also developed new optimized AcTivator™ loadings for ValuBond. This reduces fracturing treatment costs and well shut-in times.

New transloads have been set up especially for ValuBond to reduce transportation costs. Transloads are strategically located throughout North America to provide quick and easy shipping of ValuBond to your well site.
