New Proppants Reduce Formation Water Production

Our AquaBond resin coated sand is a next-generation proppant, which utilizes a unique surface chemistry that blocks the production of formation water. This increases the profitability of the well by reducing waste water storage and disposal costs, while maintaining all the typical advantages of our resin coated proppants.

Asphaltene Dispersant Works Effectively Even at Low Doses

The inhibition of asphaltenes is critical to flow assurance in the production of crude oil with unstable asphaltene content. The Disperse-ASF asphaltene dispersant efficiently disperses asphaltenes at lower dosage levels than competitive products in the market.

Eagle Ford Case Study: Statistical Analysis of Proppant Type and Additional Factors Impacting Production

The Eagle Ford has emerged as one of America’s most active shale plays. A recent case study by Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. studied the effect of proppant volume and proppant type on well production. This three-year study provided conclusive results from selected operators on proppant performance in the Eagle Ford.

Read the complete case study results in the November issue of E&P magazine.
